JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Programs & Operations (GPO) team, part of the Microsoft Sales, Marketing and Services Group Readiness organization (SMSGR), is seeking a Readiness Alliance Manager to manage the ongoing alliance between SMSGR and BMO and CMG. The Readiness Alliance Manager works across multiple teams within both SMSGR and BMO/CMG to drive a strong and productive partnership. This position is for an experienced program or alliance Manager who has proven stakeholder management skills and a desire to manage the broad learning partnership between SMSGR and BMO/CMG. Primary responsibilities include building a global, multi-year readiness Alliance plan with BMO/CMG; establishing and maintaining partnership agreements between the organizations, promoting the ongoing health of the partnership and managing the rhythm of business between the groups including presenting scorecard status to executive management.

The Global Programs & Operations team is responsible for managing internal stakeholder relationships in order to create readiness plans for the Field that span all of SMSGR’s offerings.
Job Responsibilities
The Readiness Alliance Manager is primarily responsible for:
• Acting as a trusted advisor to BMO/CMG based on a deep understanding of their business goals, metrics, Field roles and partners
• Creating and managing a global, multi-year readiness alliance plan tied to BMO/CMG business objectives
• Managing the rhythm of business and business partnership agreement between SMSG Readiness and BMO/CMG, including monthly business reviews, quarterly executive reviews, and joint business planning
• Orchestrating the readiness planning process to establish readiness plans for the next fiscal year and collaborating with SMSGR teams to ensure the timely, coordinated execution of those joint plans between the organizations
• Developing and maintaining knowledge and adherence to SMSGR operational excellence processes and the Readiness Alliance Manager Playbook
• Managing new programs and strategic initiatives in the partnership to increase business impact and evolve the partnership
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 8+ years experience in related alliance or stakeholder management
• Knowledge of the BMO/CMG business and Field marketing roles
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum.

• Skills required to be successful in this position include building strategic partnerships, acting as a Trusted Advisor, excellent communications (including presentation skills to all levels up to executive, diplomacy, and influencing), process thinking, change management/adaptability, directing work through others, initiative, building relationships and trust, and consensus building.
• Demonstrated competency in customer focus, strategic thinking, program management, action orientation, creativity, program management, and drive for results are a must.
• MBA and Readiness experience a plus.
