National Luxury Retail/Hospitality Chain Seeking Multi-Unit Management Professional (based in NYC)
OVERVIEW
The following responsibilities are core to the position:
-Recruit, hire, train, motivate, direct, coach, evaluate and retain all managers and line staff
-Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to managers
-Drive the business to achieve top line goals
-Work with senior leadership to develop annual budgets, goals and projections
-Manage operating efficiencies within each facility by evaluating personnel, labor costs and expenses on a regular basis
-Implement and support company programs and promotions to help generate business
-Ensure facility meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance and service level
-Ensure the implementation of standard operating policies and procedures for business and financial management
-Ensure location participation in local community events and establishing relationships with key community leaders
-Keep current in knowledge of key competitors. Monitor current trends in the industry and make recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer
-Develop, maintain and uphold operational guidelines that represent the Company’s brand and operating philosophy.
-Cooperate with Business Development in evaluating and executing new and potential projects.
-Perform all appropriate staff appraisals in a timely and efficient manner
-Perform other duties assigned by Chief Operating Officer
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities and qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years successful track record in driving sales in a multi-unit, dynamic, fast paced, growing business
-Experience with delivering first-class service to a discerning consumer
-Able to develop, communicate and successfully execute an integrated strategy
-Strong financial, analytical and business acumen
-Proven track record in recruiting, training and growing sustainable sales teams
-Entrepreneurial person who can inspire a team, set and communicate goals, measure accomplishments, hold a team accountable, assess talent, provide feedback and delegate
-Experience with the design and implementation of marketing programs
-Proven ability to identify and leverage up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
-Can create programs and systems that are scalable and consistent in standards of quality
-Ambitious and driven
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Computer literate
-Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
