Will need ten years of product design and technology experience in a manufacturing company, along with middle/upper management experience.

This position has responsibility for product engineering for all operations in the division including Mexico, China and the U.S.

The position has the responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating all worldwide engineering programs covering the creation/development of new products, processes and materials, as well as, re-evaluation of present products, processes and materials.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

*Coordinates work on the development of new products, redesign of present products and setting schedule for project completion.

*Serves as Chief Product Safety Officer

*Supports product liability claims

*Coordinates test programs

*Oversees worldwide Intellectual/Patent program

*Insures product meets consumer protection agency requirements

*Travels 20% of time to plant and customer sites.
