JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to manage a team of 40+ acquisition management professional working on client sites within various federal agencies located in Washington, DC and across the US. This individual will be responsible for working with recruiting and corporate managers to fulfill requirements for the firm’s newly awarded GSA Primary BPA for Acquisition Services. Significant growth is expected in the next 24 months. The individual will provide day-to-day leadership and management of major contracts as well as focusing on client delivery and business expansion. This position has responsibility for a very large nationwide program and calls for a seasoned professional with excellent customer facing skills. Position reports directly to the President. Responsibilities include:
• Effectively manage relationship with a variety of government customers and teaming partners;
• Thorough understanding of operational and contractual aspects of federal client program management;
• Direct and coordinate activities across the program consistent with established corporate goals, objectives, and policies;
• Perform business development activities include identifying new opportunities, further developing current contracts, and responding to task orders and RFQs;
• Meet established financial targets including utilization and management of indirect budgets; ensure team meets utilization and profit and loss targets;
• Provide thought leadership regarding development of new methodologies in the areas of program management and acquisition management;
• Keep the Officers informed on contract performance, business development opportunities, and recommended courses of action;
• Manage staff assigned to government client (approximately 40);
• Ensure quality and timeliness of contract deliverables by establishing quality control processes and procedures;

SKILLS
• Excellent client management skills including understanding of client needs and proactive approach to improving quality of service;
• Proven management track record in the areas of supporting federal contracts as a program management, client relationship manager, as well as staff management;
• Self-confidence, drive, and initiative combined with commitment to team effort, willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure strategic growth of the organization;
• Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams with rapid growth;
• Demonstrated success in expanding contract, both with new contracts and under existing contract vehicles;
• Strong integrity and ethics including ability to recognize and mitigate of OCIs;
• Team player with a collaborative style;
• Ability to reprioritize and achieve goals in dynamic environments.
Experience:
• 12 or more years of industry experience in increasingly responsible management positions where excellent contract performance and employee management skills have been emphasized.
• Must have progressive experience in Federal Consulting/Contracting in the professional services sector with experience in acquisition management.
• Must be U.S. citizen and have current, recent, or be able to obtain a security clearance to the SECRET level.

Our client is a fast growing, established government prime that has recently been awarded a prime BPA for acquisition management by GSA. This contact is just ramping up and will result in significant growth. They are currently at 100 total staff and anticipate a 28% growth in the next 12 months.
