JOB DESCRIPTION

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has a requirement for a Principal Analyst, Operations to support the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Systems and Missions Support II (USAMS II) contract effort at Offutt AFB, NE. The USAMS II contract supports all missions and requirements of USSTRATCOM, its subordinate and supporting agencies, component commands, supported agencies, and the Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA). USSTRATCOM mission areas include full-spectrum global strike, space operations, computer network operations, Department of Defense information operations, strategic warning, integrated missile defense, global Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), nuclear deterrence and deterring and defending against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Specific expertise is desired to support the following requirements:

1. Provide staff support as a Principal Analyst, Operations in one of USSTRATCOMs Mission Areas.

2. Provide subject matter expertise and the ability to plan, coordinate, integrate, and advocate USSTRATCOM positions with DOD, Services, Agencies, IC, and other COCOMs.

3. Write position papers, white papers, and staff estimates. Highly proficient writing and briefing skills expected, with appropriate expertise in MSOffice.

4. Support working groups, studies and analysis, document reviews, and coordinates meetings as directed.

5. Support JOPES planning, POM development, training and exercise support, and JCIDS analysis.



Requires BS/BA degree.

Requires 8-10 years experience.

Candidate must have an Active Top Secret DoD security clearance.
