Program Manager (for Program Office)
The Position:
- Directs and co-ordinates corporate or client business units in the planning and development of strategic or tactical business plans.
- Plans, directs, and co-ordinates global programs incorporating interrelated, complex, high-risk projects and the acquisition and development of new business to an operational stage.
- Manages Programs impacting multiple organizations and requiring partnering with third-party suppliers.
- Works with senior management on program proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
- Leads complex matrixed teams to develop master plans that model program commitments and timing.
- Conceptualizes and proposes add-on program opportunities.
- Sets and reviews costs, operational budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements for cross-functional program teams.
- Analyzes the effect of Programs on various operating and support areas to determine the most practical and cost-effective method to obtain the required resources.
- Identifies and assembles the appropriate blend of resources to meet needs and requirements of major programs. Sets strategy for contingency planning.
- Controls program requirements, scope, and change management issues.
- Reports Program status, progress, and benefits to company leadership.
- Establishes appropriate key performance indicators for measuring program success.

- Work jointly with the FBS Leadership to develop and implement standard program and project management practices, supporting orientation and training through workshops as required
- Maintain a repository of all standard templates and tools. Drive tool standards.
- Inventory current practices to identify opportunities to leverage and eliminate unnecessary or unneeded work
- Support cadence and standard calendar for FBS milestones and deadlines for project and program management processes
- Work jointly with FBS team to identify and implement key metrics that will allow the organization to effectively track program and project value.
- Collect and consolidate corporate deliverables, including project monitoring and presentation materials.
- providing program management rigor, discipline, and accountability to major programs and projects
- facilitate transformation by bringing together the proper tools, operating principals, processes, and people to make fact-based decisions that provide maximum shareholder return
- Drive continuous improvement by actively participating in the program management center-of-excellence and through strong partnerships with shareholders, employees, and partners

Experience
10 years 10500 hours practical, non overlapping Programme Management experience
10-14 years professional experience required
7-9 years business experience required (manage by fact, making decisions, exhibiting acumen, using business perspective)
6-10 years P&L experience variance analysis, budget and forecast, modeling)
5-7 years leading both direct and matrixed teams (People care, resource planning, performance assessment, compensation)
5-7 years continuous improvement experience, including practical use of 2 or more methodologies
