Full Job Description:

•     Oversees all aspects of projects.

•     Sets deadlines based on government requirements, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.

•     Prepares reports for PMO Manager regarding status of projects as directed

•     Manages project schedule, cost and quality using approved project management tools such as MS Project

•     Manages the Development Lead and ensures that all SDLC and PMLC deliverables are completed on budget, on schedule, meeting or exceeding customer expectations

•     Plans and manages all project related communications

•     Participates in PMO process improvement initiatives and programs

•     Report to PMO/PPM Manager

Skills & experience:

•     Experience managing projects using Earned Value Management methods

•     2+ years experience managing multiple software development projects

•     4+ years using Microsoft Project

•     Experience managing projects using PMI/PMBOK management framework

•     Experience in implementing and managing work using Project Portfolio Management solutions

•     Experience with HHS/NIH Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) Framework a plus

•     PMP Certification required

•     Strong written and oral communications skills.

•     Bio-informatics and/or Health Care IT experience a plus

•     NIH experience a plus

•     US Citizenship or Green Card required

•     Must be able to successfully pass a Public Trust Background Investigation
