Key contributor; Provides input based on expertise to mid-size projects relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function. Projects have: 1) major influence on the quality and timeliness of products or services, or impact the financial performance of the business unit and 2) require cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation. Sr Change Consultant responsible for analyzing present state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. May provide input on staffing and budget allocation but does not have actual staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making responsibilities for team. Typically 5 or more years of experience in change management preferred. Project management certification or equivalent experience preferred.
The Senior Quality and Change Delivery Consultant role is part of the Global Quality and Change Deliverys Risk and Infrastructures Information Foundation Program and is responsible for managing major enterprise-wide work efforts impacting both internal and external bank customers. This role will be responsible for analyzing current state environment, proposing target environment, assessing gaps, building and documenting requirements and driving the implementation of solutions to enable a new target state. The Senior Quality and Change Delivery Consultant translates strategies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables and may have responsibility for resource management through a matrixed project team structure. This role requires the ability to identify, navigate, escalate and manage complex data management and data exchange related work efforts. Must demonstrate ability to successfully manage, implement, and control projects while communicating a projects business value.
A Senior Change Consultant must have demonstrated ability to drive, implement, and control change and process improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment. Through skillful and indirect influence, has the ability to acquire resources, build partnerships, overcome barriers, manage conflict and achieve resolution, and drive organizational and cultural change to ensure the teams success. Can build cross-functional collaborative teams and foster partnerships outside of the team. The individual must have client facing skills, communicate effectively (both written and verbal) at all levels within the organization, and work independently as well as with a team under minimal supervision and general guidance from leadership.
Project/Change management and process improvement skills are critical. Hands-on experience with Six Sigma and/or Project/Change Management methodologies and tools is necessary for this role. The position requires at least 7-9 years professional experience, with 5 years focused in Project/Change Management and/or as a Project/Change Manager.
