Description

Bank of America has ultimate responsibility for administering the California Child Support State Disbursement Unit payment remittance processing contract. The Program Director serves as the daily oversight manager for the Bank of America partnership with two subcontractors. The Program Director is assisted by limited staff for contract-related issues and information management. The Program Director is a financial services professional with a proven track record in customer retention, growth, and satisfaction, bottom line observation, and staff building and management with positive morale generation. Responsible for the development, implementation and management of non-standard solutions to meet unique government working capital-related needs. Includes assessment of the risks and impact from clients and banks perspective, development and ongoing compliance with Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements utilized in managing internal and external service providers, reporting of performance measurements and issue resolution. Programs managed are generally large contracts with high visibility and complexity. Serves as primary Global Government liaison between client, bank and vendors with responsibility for managing program activities necessary to ensure client satisfaction. Responsible for subcontractor compliance with all government and bank-imposed policies. Responsible for delivering annual program budget and typically has responsibility for project staff, including performance management responsibilities for team. Develops and maintains relationships with Supply Chain Management, Global Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Corporate Information Security and Finance. Role requires cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation skills. Typically 10 or more years of experience in operations, change or project management.
 

Qualifications
Required:

• Skilled in major customer development and management in remittance processing services, the Program Director administers proven processes and procedures that support large-scale remittance processing.
• Principle skills critical to the success of an Program Director include proven management techniques, motivational skills, project management expertise, and strong, demonstrable leadership qualifications.
