Leads strategic sourcing projects and stakeholder teams. Responsible for setting the strategy and approach for strategic sourcing initiatives. Engages stakeholders for buy-in and implementation. Individual is a subject matter expert for a particular commodity and service. Minimum 10 years experience.

Qualified individuals will possess a strong background in Strategic Sourcing with the proven ability to lead large, successful projects.

Client expectations include knowledge of best practices, the ability to develop and manage metrics and supply relationships, and the application of strategies to optimize key spend categories.

? A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in related roles with a high level of measurable results.

? Deep experience in Sourcing, Contract Development and Negotiation, and Supplier Management for large spend categories (direct and/or indirect).

? Strong Project Management skills with the proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment.

? Functional knowledge of SAP preferred.

? E-procurement / Spend Management experience preferred (Ariba, Iasta, Ketera, Zycus).

? Competent in Microsoft Office packages - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.

? Bachelors degree required.
