JOB DESCRIPTION

DIRECTOR REVENUE APPLICATIONS in the Philadelphia area.  This Director will coordinate project activities for the revenue components of an Epic implementation, guide the technology team in design build and implementation in Epic’s revenue suite of applications. 

This is an executive level role reporting to the Chief Information Officer and serving as an executive liaison with Project management, analysts and revenue staff.   Ideal candidate will be experienced in the delivery of outpatient software solutions.   


 


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


 


 


 


1.     Oversee the implementation of revenue Epic application modules throughout the  Health system


 


 


 


2.  Maintain responsibility for revenue applications after go-live.


 


 


 


3.     Plans and coordinates analysis, design, build, development, test, training and go-live activities for implementation of Epic electronic health record.


 


 


 


4.     Develop processes, document work flows, and work with analysts to determine system specifications.  Identifies risks and develops appropriate solutions.


 


 


 


  5.     Leads and coordinates Information Services resources.  Resolves implementation related issues.


 


 


 


6.     Develop and assist team members with requirements and implementation tasks for user groups. 


 


 


 


 


 


Additionally, the Director will report and recommend new ideas for methodology and network for best solutions and provide interface / integration and implementation strategies as appropriate.


 


 


 


REQUIREMENTS Include:


 


 


 


 


 


SPECIFIC EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE:


 


 


 


·       Bachelor’s degree IT related or Science degree


 


·       Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly preferred.


 


 


 


ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of four (4) years experience in a formal Project   Management role.


 


  Minimum of four (4) years working in a healthcare setting.


 


·Significant experience in system / solution analysis, vendor  management, implementation including system testing


 


·Documented success in leading the implementation of a complex integrated Hospital Information System.
