Assistant Quality Assurance Director

The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Assistant Quality Assurance Director for a Large Dairy Manufacturing Facility located in the South East.

Requirements Overview:

Must be Degreed with 7+ years of experience in Dairy environments.  Need 2nd level management experience.  Must have UHT AND ESL experience, highly prefer candidates with SQF experience.  Looking for a strong leader.  Will manage QA Manager and Lab/QA employees.

Position Summary:

- Audit co-packers and suppliers of Company products. Establish appropriate Quality Compliance programs, assures compliance to specifications and all relevant state and federal requirements.
- Oversee plant quality programs assuring product quality and safety. Work with plant management providing guidance for corrective actions, trouble shooting and preventative measures.
- Coach and mentor plant QA team to ensure they and the quality department are successfully meeting internal and external customer demands.  Including, oversee lab testing, in-plant audits, third party audits, HACCP, SQF, and environmental testing.
- Compile and publish weekly, monthly and quarterly quality reports for facility.
- Interface with R&D/Tech Services providing quality/food safety guidance for projects involving facilities indicated above.
- Support local management with quality/regulatory/customer complaint issues by providing information/data.
- Serves as a member of the Aseptic Management of Change process.
- Acts as the key person to deal with Aseptic Process Authority.
- Ensures consistent processes are applied throughout ESL plant as related to:  weight control, allergen testing, and product specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified Candidates for the Assistant Quality Assurance Director position MUST HAVE a 4-Year BS Degree with at least 7+ Years of 2nd Level Quality Management experience from within a Dairy Processing Facility.  Candidates also MUST HAVE experience with UHT (Ultra High Temperature) AND ESL (Extended Shelf Life).  At this time, ONLY candidates coming directly out of a Dairy Facility will be considered.  Qualified Candidates should send a Word and/or Adobe copy of their resume.
