This senior facilities engineer would be the single point of contact to Battle Management and Engagement Systems Division and its correlated functional homerooms in the collection of new facilities requirements related to acquisition of new business, functional growth and/or consolidations driven by new business evolution, expansion and demise. The primary responsibility of this senior facilities leadership role is interpreting Division requirements, filtering for non-value added facilitation tasks, determining facilitation work content and providing BAP and MandA support. This statement of work would be delivered to the facilities planning organization for creation of solution alternatives. As the single point of contact to the Division relative to current and emerging business demands and facilities space allocation/utilization, this lead will attend the Division VP, Business Management staff meetings. As an integral member of the VP, Business Managements team, this lead will ensure facilities requirements are defined, included within contract and contract change negotiations and that corresponsing non-recurring and recurring resource plans are established to enable implementation of corresponding facilities solutions. This position will report to Manager, Sector Facilities Requirements Planning and will work closely with the three other Division Requirements leads to integrate requirements assessment and solution development across the entire sector facilities portfolio.Basic qualifications: Education/Experience: Minimum 14 yrs. with BA/BS degree or equivalent; 12 yrs. with MA/MS degree; 9 yrs. with PhD. Additional years of experience may be applied in lieu of academic degrees. SBI clearance is preferred and the ability to achieve the full array of DoD security clearances is required.
