GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overall management of security, baggage handling, passenger services, and ground/ramp services operations at Newark International Airport. Ensure that the planned profitability of all accounts is realized along with potential growth opportunities. Responsible for ensuring overall compliance with safety, quality, and compliance policies, standards, and procedures established by the Company, by our Clients (via contractual requirements), and by regulatory authorities within his or her division
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate effectively with employees and clients to ensure fulfillment of performance requirements
- Maintain positive relationship with client representatives
- Manage profit and loss income statement for the division
- Prepare for and participate in weekly senior management calls to discuss key business initiatives, compliance, new business, recruiting, financial updates, and operational concerns
- Prepare for and lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews for the division
- Responsible for division financial planning and budgeting
- Responsible for development of proposals in response to RFPs within the division
- Participate in sales and operational presentations to clients
- Ensure that planned profits are realized through effective financial management
- Review PAR reports to ensure all accounts are timely paid and up to date
- Ensure overall compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities, including the DOT, FAA, OSHA, and the Department of Homeland Security, at each operation within the Division
- Oversee hiring and performance management of General and Regional Managers within the division
- Oversee the training program at each operation within the division and ensure that all training documents are properly maintained in training files
- Ensure an active client visitation program is maintained within region.
- Responsible for overall business development within region
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Graduate Degree preferred
- Minimum ten years management experience
- Previous P&L management experience of $15MM+
- Previous multiple location aviation or aviation security management experience preferred
- Documented successful sales experience
- Project management skills preferred
- Excellent leadership abilities including effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform well under stress/effectively interface with employees at all levels
