Production Manager

The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Production Manager with a Bulk Manufacturing background for a Large Food Ingredients Manufacturing Facility located in Witchita, KS.

Job Summary:

Oversees the safe and efficient operation of one or more production areas within a manufacturing facility. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the manufacturing process such as environmental compliance, production/processing, quality control and maintenance.

Position Responsibilities:

Accountable for Well fields, Brine Treating, Pan house and Boiler room operation. Accountable for Mill, Loading, and Warehousing operations.   Ensures Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance and compliance.
Accountable for the Wet End Operations (including Well fields, Pan House and Boiler room operation. Manages area budget / cost, volume and quality. Manages small project capital & expense budget.  Accountable for the Dry End Operations (including the Mill, Loading and Warehousing operations), Site Maintenance and Reliability coordination and Production planning in accordance with demand. Manages small project capital & expense budget.  Manages area budget / cost, volume and quality.   Manages area and shift supervisors.  Manages equipment and process reliability.  Works with other departments to meet plant goals and commitments.  Participates in Production and Maintenance coordination.  Ensures that department is using standard business processes.  Delivers on special project assignments. 
Participates in capital budget and portfolio management.  Responsible for developing and managing the shift schedule for supervisors.  Participates in succession planning activities.  Facilitates interactions between organizations. Develops area manufacturing strategy and cascades the strategy to establish individual employee expectations.  Completes compliance requirements, including compliance matrix, and other training for position, as required.  Performs other related duties, as required. 

Position Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other related technical degree.
Minimum of 7-10 years Bulk Manufacturing experience, including a minimum of three (3) years Production/Technical/ Maintenance management experience.
