Information Systems Defense Systems Division is seeking a highly motivated Senior Level Contact Administrator. The individual will provide counsel in change proposals, customer support requirements and other customer regulatory requirements and statutory direction that pertain to any procurement. Reviews and approves proposal preparation, proposed contract terms and conditions, provides risk assessment of terms and conditions, and resolves potential policy questions to ensure compatibility with company and government procurement regulations. The successful candidate will be able to provide responsible advice and counsel on a wide range of contractual, financial and business issues and perform as an expert in all matters involving the interpretation and application of company contracting policies and procedures. The successful candidate must be have strong knowledge on EVMS processes. Extensive experience with Firm Fixed Price Contracts is a plus. Ability to provide strong communication through presentation or email format with Senior Management is key. The successful candidate should be able to conduct presentations to senior and executive management. The individual filling this position will have primary responsibility for administration of a major international Firm FIxed Price Commerical Contract and as such there may be travel required to Saudi Arabia. The contract is managed from our Carson, CA Facility. The individual must be highly organized, flexible, able to work independently, and must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external. The individual will have the ability to communicate new business review process, recommending policies/procedures and guidelines on processes. The individual will support major business proposal initiatives by recommending cost-effective approaches and negotiation strategies and analyzing and evaluating proposals and programs including all phases of activity from business development and capture strategy, pre-solicitation, proposal, award, post-award, and closeout. Must be able to work in, and promote a team environment both as a team lead and team member. Responsible for ensuring Northrop Grumman policies and procedures are met. Final grade determination will be made based on qualifications of the selected candidate. The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: 10+ years of experience directly related to this position. The Applicant selected may be subjected to a government security investigation and therefore must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required. Security Clearance a plus. Requirements: Bachelors degree plus minimum 10-15 years of experience in Contracts. Multi-tasking is an essential skill required for this position Ability to work in a fast paced environment International Experience Deals well with high pressure environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in presenting to both small and large audiences Ability to communicate and comply with written policies and procedures Subcontract Management Experience a plus Ability to communicate and discuss the financial aspects of contracts such as DSR, reporting, allowable charging Strong Negotiation Skills.
