Business Unit/ Function: Global Consumer Operations
Reports To (Operational): Head, Global Consumer Lending Operations
Role Purpose:
Responsible for executing and managing the GCG (TCS BFS) Cincinnati Delivery Operations, including delivery against Financial Budgets, Compliance & Reporting (Regulatory, Internal), Operational Excellence across all BFS BPO product lines /services, Client satisfaction, US Business Development, Audits & Controls
Job Description (Key responsibilities)
Strategic
? Will be heading the Retail channel US Mortgage Operations at TCS, Cincinnati site, in a profitable and sustainable manner, and meeting US clients* onshore delivery needs.
? Develop and execute a long term business plan, strategically leveraging the TCS GNDM Model, for maximizing client*s share of wallet and shareholder value.
? Work closely with other Business Heads to develop a comprehensive product offering, enabling TCS to offer an end-to-end value proposition to its clients.
? Develop and execute strategies to ensure customers receive industry best practices and services with system enhancements and value added processes. Partner effectively with all levels of management and interface with internal clients to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
Financial
? Achieve and exceed the annual financial budgets (Revenues, Costs, Margins)
? Review operational performance of capital (e.g. sound cost accounting, billing, pricing and budgeting principles) and operating budgets.
Operational Excellence
? Responsible for the operational excellence of the Mortgages onshore SBU.
? Engage with current and potential clients on a continuous basis, to identify new business opportunities, develop new product/service offerings
? Create a culture of innovation and process excellence, by identifying opportunities of improving processes that help increase productivity, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction
Compliance, Audit & Controls, Financial / Non Financial Reportings
? Ensure all BFSI Operations conform to all applicable regulatory requirements (Local, State, Federal) to a continuous basis. This may include (but will not be limited to) Originations, Servicing, Collections licensing, Taxation, Reportings to Fannie/Freddie/OCC, etc.
? Deliver satisfactory ratings in all internal / external audits
Human Resources
? Develop an organizational structure that is capable of efficiently meeting customer needs and achieving established growth and revenue objectives.
? Ensure management team and staff has appropriate training and development plans needed to perform their roles effectively.
? Drive business unit performance by instilling a pay for performance culture through effective performance management and compensation strategies.
? Forecast human capital needs to ensure that they align to overall business unit objectives
? Identify and groom high potential managerial talent
? Ensure attrition (both voluntary and involuntary) is below 10%.
? Identify opportunities for deskilling roles
Corporate Social Responsibility
? Develop TCS as the *Employer of Choice* in the local community, through various CSR and non governmental initiatives

Position Job Reports to: Head, Global Consumer Lending Operations
Direct Reports to the Position: 4-5
Span of Control Overall team size of 400-500 FTE in 4 years
Skills
Skill Sets & Qualifications
? MBA/CFA/CA * with over 12 years of experience in Consumer Financial Services, specifically in US Residential Mortgages Industry
? Should have handled a large SBU, with independent financial (Revenue, Cost) responsibility
? Well versed with the applicable consumer financial services industry, regulatory, and competitive environment
? Ability to create and lead start up Operations * Demonstrated flexibility, agility, and adaptability to a dynamically changing environment
? Exposure to various aspects of Operations (Originations, Credit & Risk, Servicing, Collections & Default, Analytics) and/or across different product lines (Mortgages, Cards, Banking) will be a definite advantage
? Strong and proven leadership capability. Ability to work in cross-cultural and geographically diverse teams
