Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Process Effectiveness Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Development Program. Roles and Responsibilities: * Implementing NGIS Policy-compliant processes in support of the IBCS Program Management Plan. * Monitoring and assisting the creation of program processes and procedures to ensure consistent, quality products are delivered to internal and external customers. * Auditing program processes as implemented, to ensure compliance to NGIS policies, AS9100 and CMMI-DEV Level 5. * Initiating and Supporting Continuous Improvement activities including basic process improvements and Six Sigma projects. * Tracking Corrective and Preventive Action System status and conducting program CAB as needed. * Coordination of CMMI L5 and AS9100-related activities on the program, including preparation for internal and external assessments. * Managing the Six Sigma and Metrics collection programs for IBCS. * Providing process effectiveness and CMMI-related inputs to the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) during proposal and down-select activities. * Participation in Division and Sector process effectiveness initiatives as required. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * BS degree in business, engineering, math or computer science. Additional years of experience may be traded for degree requirements. * A minimum of 10 years experience in a quality management or lead auditor role. * Proven experience successfully implementing ISO 9000, AS9100, CMMI, Six Sigma and Lean Principles * CMMI assessor, Lead AS9100 auditor and Six-Sigma Black Belt certification * Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality engineering techniques, and Mission Assurance planning and protocol. * Experience performing analysis of risk mitigation, process effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize, plan, & execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment to produce high quality results. * Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, verbal, & written communication skills and proficiency on Microsoft Office applications. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Position requires a current Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * Experience working on a missile defense or battle command program. * Familiarity with the Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS) command media approach to implementation of quality management systems This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
