AIRSTEED has an opening for an Acquisition Logistics Support Manager to serve as the lead on the Customers field support effort. The Acquisition Logistics Support Manager will assure that considerations for support influence the design of systems. The candidate will also be responsible for defining and developing support requirements in order to guarantee supportability through the life-cycle of the system. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for the development of comprehensive integrated logistics plans. Will assure that support aspects are properly considered during the development of requirements and designs. Define support requirements optimally in relation to the design of the system. Establish methods and procedures for acquiring the required support and see it is carried out during the operational phase at minimal cost. Assess the impact of reliability and maintainability information on hardware, software, and firmware supportability. Ascertain the range and depth of provisioning for each piece of equipment in the system. Will be responsible for the preparation of ALS cost estimates. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Bachelors or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years experience. 7+ years experience in the ALS field 7+ years experience with DOD Acquisition systems Have a comprehensive knowledge of logistic support functions from the planning phase on through acquisition, test, development and operation over the life-cycle. The ability to apply the disciplines of ILS in the identification of logistic support requirements. Have an understanding of the DODs acquisition, planning and management processes The ability to work and contribute as a team member The position will require excellent interpersonal and basic computer skills TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance required.
