The ISD Cyber& SIGNIT Systems Business Unit is seeking a Hardware Quality Engineer that will provide direction and support to a major project. The selected candidate will develop, maintain and ensure compliance with the program quality assurance, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines. This individual will provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or government regulations and agency guidelines to assure compliance. S/He will work directly with the project management office to ensure inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing base, as specified, to enforce requirements and meet specifications. This individual will ensure the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly. The candidate will coordinate project process support and ensure conformance to Project MA Plans. Postion located in San Jose, CA with 50% travel. The following are the Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree plus 20 years related experience or minimum 24 years experience in lieu of degree Record of increasing responsibility supporting programs that provided hardware engineering processes, hardware development and hardware test. Knowledge of quality systems standards (ISO/AS9100 and CMMI) Experienced quality systems auditor/assessor Proficient with SAP and Business Wharehouse Must be able to travel ~50% The following are considered assets: Lean Six Sigma training Working knowledge of Information Systems policies and PRA process TS/SBI required Security Clearance Required.
