Job Description Key Role: Provide day-to day support to key government clients in the area of environmental management. Assist federal clients with meeting applicable environmental laws and regulations and Executive Orders (EOs), including EO 13423. Serve as a task and project manager with the capability to identify and capture client needs and develop lasting solutions to meet those needs. Help to design and implement environmental management systems. This position is located in Washington, DC. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience with working for the federal government or in support of the federal government -5+ years of experience with developing environmental management systems, environmental compliance programs, or in green procurement programs -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with program and project management -Experience in working with or for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a plus -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -BA or BS in Environmental Science or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree in Environmental Management a plus -Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
