Subcontract Program Manager 2 / 3 - ES / 034586

The PSM will coordinate with Program Office and Subcontract Administration personnel to assist in the preparation of Statements of Work, Data Requirements and other flow down requirements to subcontractors when requests for proposal are developed. The candidate will be responsible for directing the performance of functional task elements including subcontract administration, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, logistics and admin functions in support of managing subcontractors. Responsible for the technical and schedule performance of major subcontracts, serve as the primary interface on status and performance issues. Specific responsibilities include: Identification of subcontract requirements, Development of the bidders list, Ensure appropriate staffing to manage and administer subcontracts is quoted and assigned, Identify subcontract risks and develop mitigation plans, Identify appropriate SDRLs required to manage subcontracts, Establish target pricing for subcontracts, Participate in the evaluation of proposals, Assist in negotiations, Coordinate export control and security requirements, Perform management, monitoring and evaluation of assigned subcontracts. Candidates for this position should possess a BS in Engineering or Business and a minimum of 10 years experience in Subcontract Management in an Aerospace hardware/software company. DoD Top Secret with SBI security clearance preferred. Security Clearance Required.
