Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 15 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 12 Years relevant experience with Masters; This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the jobs education requirements. Example: If this job required a Bachelors degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience. Job Specifics: The candidate will support the creation of a series of materiel readiness briefs and practical exercises for senior naval surface officers. The candidate must be a materiel readiness subject matter expert and must possess in depth knowledge of naval materiel readiness references and be fully current on existing processes. This individual should have multiple afloat command tours including senior level experience as a formal assessor of shipboard materiel condition, senior staff experience relating to the materiel readiness of surface force ships, and experience delivering materiel readiness related briefs to ship command and higher level audiences. The candidate must have the ability to provide senior level, subject matter materiel readiness expertise to review brief content breadth, depth, currency, and busniess process execution to include shaping the development of shipboard materiel readiness programs. The candidate should have experience delivering materiel readiness briefs to senior naval officers in various formats. Security Clearance Required.
