Mgr Logistics 3

Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum 8 years of procurement and personal property management experience. * Must have demonstrated experience in maintaining personal property databases. * Must have demonstrated experience in managing an inventory of at least 15,000 tracked items (i.e. quantities, not line items). * Must have demonstrated knowledge of Federal property management regulations. * Experience in office re-locations is desirable. * Bachelors degree, or equivalent. * Ability to work under pressure of deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proven track record of proactively working issues and obtaining results. * US citizenship. * Must be able to pass pre-employment credit check and drug screen. * Knowledge of SAP systems useful. Security Clearance Required.
