Our client is a privately held Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Company who is seeking a Demand Planning Manager with a strong background leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Job description :
Our client is looking for a Demand Planning Manager with experience leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The Demand Planning Manager will create and execute the demand plan to support sales and service goals within the Supply Chain. This individual must possess strong leadership skills as they will work closely with internal stakeholders within the company. Day to day responsibilities include the following: Manage and lead the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. Run weekly meetings to review metrics including service level to stores, POS and cut analysis. Review, analyze, and identify possible recommendations for slow moving product and sku rationalization Prepare, report, and communicate monthly metrics to measure forecast accuracy. Work with big box retailer such as Target and Wal-Mart to prepare monthly forecasts. Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on latest demand and market trends. Pro-actively work with the supply planners and retailers to review forecast, promotions and implications to the monthly supply planning process. Who we are looking for :
Candidates that will be considered for Demand Planning Manager should meet the following: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field. 5+ years experience in a demand/supply planning role in consumer porducts industry Extensive knowledge of S&OP process from development and implementation Strong leadership and analytical skills Experience working with a demand planning software system. Ability to work quickly and accurately within deadlines Excellent communication skills both written and orally. Whats on offer :
$90,000 - $105,000 plus excellent benefits.
