Our client is a leading global insurance company with a strong track record of profitable growth and leading market positions in the segments it serves. It is a top ten US insurance firm, a Fortune 250 organization, and recognized as one of the “America’s Most Admired” firms with about $15 billion in revenues.
Their Centralized Claims function is well recognized as a top provider of customer service and is one of their key competitive advantages. The Claim’s Strategic and Operations Business Group is a key part of the Claims organization success. This group works directly with the Claims organization to develop and deliver operational excellence. There is a track record of delivering high impact results from this prestigious and showcased small group of top talent. There is an immediate need for a Claims Consultant to join this team which is located conveniently in an attractive New York City suburb.
Major Responsibilities:
The Claims Consultant will work with the Claim’s Operations to implement operational excellence that supports the deep technical competencies and customer service focus of the Claim organization. The Claims Consultant will work closely with Claim and other business partners to effectively understand the unique needs of the Claims organization and develop, recommend, and implement solutions for meeting these needs including process mapping, division of labor, and the allocation of technology/tools across the multiple lines of business supported. They will serve as a key project team member and support business process improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation. Additional areas of focus for this key role include oversight and refinement of the Claim Operation’s core financial metrics such as the outstanding check report, duplicate issuance verification report, pending inventory report, and other reports and metrics as needed.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background of proven claims process improvement from a leading consulting organization or internal operations leadership role with a top property casualty claims organization.
