Custom Credit Executive - IRC173308

The candidate will be undertaking marketing and transaction management in a large geographic region with a focus on providing sophisticated credit direction, expertise and approval for strategically important clients. 


Job Responsibilities

• A Custom Credit Executive provides in-market, client-facing advice and counsel to UST/ML sales teams and clients where a customized or structured credit transaction is needed.
• In this role, the CCE assists in target client selection, analysis if risks and negotiation of critical loan structure and pricing elements.
• As well, the position partners with the Credit Risk, Underwriting and Documentation partners to shepherd the transaction through the process to completion.
• This is also a market leadership role in driving credit balance & revenue growth, as well as assisting in managing asset quality of the portfolio.
• Product advocate for credit in a large geographic region.
• Originates sound new business through regional bankers.
• Provides credit direction, expertise, and approval for strategically important clients.
• Leads credit product to Hoshin targets. Delivers credit strategy for the region to clients.
• Understands market differences within region and coordinates best practices in terms of delivering thoughtful credit solutions.
• Works closely with clients and bankers to define and deliver best alternative for both.
• Coaches bankers regarding opportunities and alternatives for clients.
• Critical link to centralized underwriting and approval process.
• Accountable to asset quality and financial plan for the region.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years lending experience with a primary focus on UHNW individuals and/or commercial/corporate lending.
• Advanced degree preferred
• Series 7/66 licenses preferred
