As part of the newly-established Sector Affordability and Competitive Excellence organization the candidate will be responsible for strategically positioning NGAS as the most trusted supplier of the worlds technical and affordable security solutions. Primary responsibility is to support programs with the best processes and tools to contain, reduce, and manage total program life cycle cost. Other responsibilities include analysis and modeling of program costs with a technical, production and programmatic perspective to establish, track, and assist the programs with their tactical affordability initiatives. Close and highly interactive coordination with program technical and business personnel as well as the upfront concept and technology development teams. High degree of autonomy and decision-making required with the ability to communicate and influence decisions that impact the ratio of cost to performance on a program. Successful candidates will bring demonstrated business and technical skills with an ability to partner with the program personnel and high-level management. Knowledge of program life-cycles and the defense acquisition process is a plus. Previous leadership and teaching experience is desirable. Demonstrated analytical modeling and system architecture experience is necessary. Risk analysis and mitigation experience is beneficial for job function. Fluency in application of EVMS, CPI, WBS structures and other business tracking methodologies a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly results and schedule oriented with a demonstrated ability to work effectively and coordinate activities across multiple organizations. Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, Industrial Engineering principles, CAIV & Trade-off analysis is beneficial. Basic Qualifications: 7 years of related experience with a Masters Degree or 9 years of related experience with a Bachelors Degree. U.S. Citizenship required. Must have or be able to acquire a Secret clearance. Preferred Experience: Technical Bachelors degree with an MBA degree preferred.
