Brief Job Description

Consultants are called on to formally report to clients, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development. QualificationsPositions require a MBA, PhD, or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top business school. PRTM seeks consultants at various levels, with experience working for management consulting firms and/or significant work experience in one of the following industry segments:    Aerospace, Defense, and National Security:  Experience in supply chain operations, program management, manufacturing/production R&D, or a large scale IT management in a technology-rich company, with a focus on aerospace, defense, and national security, is mandatory. Specific experience in Performance Based Logistics or space-based communication platforms and/or information-sharing initiatives for the federal government is a plus. Candidates with experience in transportation or materials sourcing are top priorities. Biodefense/Public Health: Experience in supply chain operations from a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a consulting firm is mandatory. Experience in one of the following government agencies—National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services—is a plus.Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Transportation Management:  Experience in supply chain operations, strategic sourcing, or transportation management in the industrial, aerospace, defense, electronics, and automotive industries is a plus, as it can be applied to both the public sector and the industries that serve government.Due to the nature of our work and our clients, candidates must be able to obtain or currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance.
