Reporting Relationship
The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors and work closely with other members of the Executive Management Team.
Core Function
This person is primarily responsible for developing and managing the execution of the Operating Plan and the establishment and development of teams that lead the key organizational branch functions which include: financial planning and control, sales strategy, marketing, new branch openings, network management, and customer satisfaction.
As the leader of the Company’s senior management team the Chief Executive Officer will set a leadership tone consistent with company values with accountability to shareholders with the highest standard of commitment to improving the overall performance of the company.
Responsibilities
- Achievement of Company quantitative goals including: revenue, appropriately balanced among new and existing customers; new sales; customer retention; adherence to spending plans; and staffing (both quantity and quality).
- Establish and maintain appropriate controls and procedures while protecting the assets of the Company.
- Oversee the preparation of operating budgets and management reports; make independent economic analyses of business opportunities; and evaluate the financial impact of related actions being considered by the Company.
- Work closely with the Executive Management Team and the investment partners on financial planning, with particular emphasis on building out existing locations and potentially new branch openings.
- Examine the major business opportunities available to the company to determine future growth potential, both through strategic alliances, expansion into new geographies and services, and key hires.
- Work with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee and direct cash management, budgeting, mergers & acquisitions, audit, tax and accounting/control functions for the company.
- Appraise the Company’s financial position and work with the Chief Financial Officer to issue regular periodic financial and operating reports that provide the Executive Management Team and lenders with the information needed to make appropriate decisions.
- Develop and implement long and short?term financial, strategic and operational programs in support of the Company’s profitability objectives.
- Assume responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of all financial reports and statements.
- Ensure that appropriate technical and functional bench strength is developed in the finance and administrative organization; maintain high performance standards, and initiate appropriate training to retain and motivate talented staff.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of ten of progressively more responsible managerial experience, with at least five years of high-level management in the oil and gas industry to effectively direct the operations of the Company.
- Operational management and strategy development experience.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve bottom line results while balancing competing priorities.
- Eagerness to accept personal accountability while functioning as part of a management team which defines success as timely achievement of goals.
- Strategic thinker, with the imagination and foresight to conceptualize new ideas and opportunities as well as the implementation skills to bring them to fruition.
- Flexibility and self-reliance.
- Hard-driving, results-oriented professional executive, capable of significantly contributing to increasing firm performance and profits.
- Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and upgrading operational systems and controls.
- Credibility and leadership. Capable of generating a high degree of respect and trust rapidly from the various operating units, as well as from the corporate staff, investors, and clients.
- People-oriented, hard working, intelligent, professionally aggressive, with a strong work ethic and stamina.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
Educational Requirements
The desired candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree. An MBA is considered desirable.
Compensation
A competitive compensation package, including a seven-figure equity in the company, that is commensurate with the candidate’s experience, qualifications and potential.
