 McCloud Services has a 100-year track record of increasing growth, visibility, & opportunity in the Pest Management industry.  Our highly regarded family owned company has been an integral part of setting standards within the industry.  As an industry leader, we market & sell our services to commercial clients throughout the Midwest including national accounts with major food manufacturers, restaurants, and Fortune 500 companies. We are committed to protecting our customers’ products, property and business reputation and the health and safety of the consumers they impact.

 This is a newly created, key executive leadership position which will help shape our culture and corporate strategies for the future. It also requires substantial hands-on field presence.  

We are seeking a Director of Operations with Multi-Unit Field Service and Business Development experience. 

 You should enjoy working independently to organize and lead multiple business units for maximum profitability and efficiency, while executing a strategic process to ensure growth and development of the business, customer relationships and employee competencies.  You will be responsible to direct and manage field service and sales operations with:
  • Full P&L responsibility for the management of field operations, including service delivery, sales, quality assurance and customer service/account management.
  • Hands-on field presence in Staffing, performance measurement/management and development of Field Management and front line Service Specialists.
  • Regular field presence enhancing customer service, quality assurance and business development opportunities.  
  • Effective utilization of cross-functional teams to enhance continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is independent; systems and process oriented; a motivator; a pro-active strategist; and customer service focused with significant success working in a business-to-business service/sales environment.

 Qualifications:       At least 5 years prior experience successfully managing a multi-Branch, Multi-State  business-to-business field service/sales operation (Branch, Divisional, Regional, District).  Experience in the Food Industry would also be valuable. Strong business acumen and proven experience managing culture change. Adept in managing remotely through systems and spreadsheets including well developed  computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office programs.  Willingness and availability to travel frequently to personally be a presence in the field.  Interpersonal savvy to build constructive relationships with staff, peers and customers.  Customer service orientation and team problem-solving approach.       Adept in the selection, training, evaluation and motivation of field service management and front line employees.  Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record.  Acceptable pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.       Related Bachelor’s Degree, Masters would be a plus, related technical certifications and continuing education.
